Description Heliopsis helianthoides subsp. scabra [Summer Sun] A clump-forming perennial with ovate to lance-shaped, toothed, coarsely haired, mid-green leaves. From mid-summer to early autumn, single flowerheads of yellow ray-florets and disc-florets are borne on branched stems.
